Is Candle really free?
Yes. Creating a memorial — the name, portrait, life dates, life story, up to 4 gallery photos, visitor candles, tribute messages and social sharing — is completely free, and free memorials stay free forever. Premium is optional.
What does Premium add?
Premium (₹1/day per memorial) adds more room for memories: up to 30 gallery photos, a longer 10,000-character life story, a life timeline, a family & loved-ones section, video memories, a custom page background, a printable memorial card with a QR code, and a downloadable memorial book (PDF).
How does the ₹1/day Premium plan work?
Premium is ₹1 per day, per memorial, drawn from your prepaid DriveBird Wallet. It only ever starts after you press "Go Premium" on a specific memorial, so your wallet is never charged for Candle otherwise — and you can turn it off any time.
Can anyone visit a memorial page?
Yes. A published memorial is public — anyone you share the link with can open it and pay their respects without signing in. Until you publish it, it stays a private draft that only you can see.
Can visitors light candles and leave messages?
Yes. Anyone can light a virtual candle with a single tap, no account needed. Leaving a written message requires a free DriveBird sign-in, and the memorial's owner is notified of each new tribute.
Can I keep a memorial private?
You have two controls. Keep a memorial as an unpublished draft and only you can see it. Or publish it but mark it "unlisted" — it is then hidden from search engines and from our public listings, and the only way to reach it is the direct link you choose to share. There is no password or invite-only access at this time.
What happens if I stop Premium?
Nothing is lost. If you switch Premium off — or your wallet runs out — the memorial simply returns to its free form. Everything you added stays saved and reappears the moment Premium is active again.
Can I create a memorial for a pet?
Yes. Candle supports memorials for both people and pets, and pets have their own listing. The same features are available either way.
Can I download or print a memorial?
With Premium you can download a printable memorial card — with a QR code linking back to the page — and a full memorial book as a PDF, to keep or share at a service.
